Cardinals kick their way to 61-60 win over Wildcats

Sometimes those little 1- and 2-point conversions following touchdowns are just as critical, if not more so, than the touchdowns themselves. On Friday night, October 17, the Rains Wildcats found that out the hard way in a 61-60 overtime loss to the Melissa Cardinals in Melissa.

Lady Cats defeat Canton, Wills Point

The Rains Lady Cats recorded a pair of wins at home during district play last week. The Lady Cats improved their district mark to 4-2 with the wins. Their overall record now stands at 26-8 for the season.
