Cats come up short in another shootout

For the second time in two weeks, the Rains Wildcats came up on the short end of a wild shootout that had a combined score of over 120 points. On Friday night, October 24, it was the Community Braves who rallied from a two-score deficit in the final three and a half minutes to defeat the Wildcats 67-62.

Lady Cats secure spot in playoffs

Last week the Rains Lady Cats secured a playoff spot with a district win over the Brownsboro Bearettes on Tuesday, October 21. On Friday evening, October 24, the Lady Cats came up short in their attempt to grab a share of the district’s top spot in the standings when they fell to the Van Lady Vandals.
